2015 was pre bmw fixing the power delivery.
Early 2015 and 2016 models are extremely peaky and spiky, lack of traction + torque tidal wave makes them a real handful.
After 2017 they reprogrammed the software to be a lot more linear and easier to manage throttle. |

The GTS flash on the transmission and diff makes the car a lot better to drive 👍🏻
