BMW has updated their automated phone system. I seem to have cracked the code, so you may want to consider updating the initial post.
800-831-1117,4,,2,,,1234567,1 (using your production number in place of 1234567)
This worked for me, just thought I'd share. Thanks again to all contributors to this thread.
