At realoem.com, they also show two pipe clips, part #17-12-7-609-160, but they're not shown in the diagram and getbmwparts.com doesn't have a picture. From your picture I can't tell whether those clips can be removed and replaced. If they can, it looks like an easy and inexpensive fix.

The clips cant be removed. The cable is not expensive and I really want to replace only if it's easy.

To me, one broken clip but need to do lot of works is stupid design
