Thank you everyone for your replies.
On an incline, with an MT, I have engaged the handbrake and release it as I lift my foot off the clutch as the clutch engages and bites.
Are you suggesting with the DCT I have a choice of releasing the foot off the footbrake and immediately transferring it to the gas peddal.
Or, could I use the handbrake and do the biting thing with the DCT?
I'm beginning to think that I have to think in a very different way with a DCT after having only driven manuals for 10s of years.
