M-DCT subtlties and semantics 101
Hi, new owner of an M4 w/DCT. Having a small issue and wondering if there is a solution out there, or if I'm imagining things:
True or false--if the car is shut off in neutral there is no way to put it in Park and no way to lock the car. If true, this is a change from the old generation M3. If the car is in Neutral when you shut it off, you must re-start the engine and put it in gear and then shut if off at which point it goes into Park. Then you can get out and lock it.
If I have it wrong and this is not true I hope someone can explain it to me.
