Due to the power curve characteristic of the S55, the DCT on the F8X has much longer gearing than on the E9X. Which makes for very leisurely and quiet cruising on the freeway.

1st gear -> N/A

3rd gear -> 4650RPM
4th gear -> 3475RPM
5th gear -> 2725RPM
6th gear -> 2300RPM
7th gear -> 1825RPM
