I think if you want the most money, you're better off with a private sale. Carmax can actually give you their offer over their website through KBB if I can recall. I helped my friend sell his car to carmax and whatever was on the website was what they gave him. He had a WRX and he bought it for 26,000. He sold it for 25,000 at Carmax 2 years later. It was very fast and done within like 3 hours?
