The 39mo deal is a hair cheaper. I crunched the numbers and the 36mo deal is $11/mth more. In your case you need to also think about tires possibly, get out of the lease early, etc. So the 36mo. may be better so it depends if you intend to stay the entire duration of the lease. Registration? Not an issue I wouldn't think. You would get some type of refund back I expect if you more than a year or so further. Bottom line - splitting hairs.
