Another thing I don't like... running CarPlay/Waze prevents me from having the iDrive navigation directions showing in the HUD. :-(
(Unless I'm missing something... each time I start the BMW Nav and then switch to Waze the HUD directions stop. You can apparently show something Nav related in the split screen, so perhaps it's just another UI annoyance)
