Big shout out to Kubax86, got my fullscreen carplay done yesterday as well on my 18 f80 zcp. had to update my firmware to NBTevo_P183621 (took about 1 hour) and the carplay took about 5 minutes. He also coded out a few things at my request like the seatbelt gong and the legal disclaimers. The firmware also included the GTS transmission flash (highly recommend) which really improved the jerkiness, possibly the sound?

All in all great experience and I highly recommend him.

***edit. off topic but not off topic, i had trouble connecting my iphone to the carplay, (not related to kubax86's work, i deleted and added the phone too many times), i had to do a quick network settings reset on my phone and then it was able to connect flawlessly. just something to keep in mind if you're troubleshooting the connection.
