This is not the case in the F8X where the trim is limited to a small portion of the dash and centre console. The trim does not extend to the doors or rear quarters.

I got the brushed aluminum as well but I still find it boring. I agree with you completely about the effect on the F8x.
I would have at lease made silver stitching standard and other colors more money.
