And a couple questions:
1) did you tape off the body or use any other method to prevent overspray?
2) do you track the car? I wonder how well the paint would hold up under extreme temps. My 997S came with powder coated tips which had been on there for years prior to my purchase...but I burned off the coating the very first track weekend, haha! |
Definitely cover your car! Ive had two M2Cs and I painted the ballsack on both. I used a cheap plastic drop cloth from home Depot big enough to cover the car. You will be shocked at the amount of paint that settled on the drop cloth when you're done. Also prep is key. Put your car on some race ramps or something and spend a little time scuffing the muffler and then wipe down really well with alcohol prior to painting.
