Will be interesting to see how this car handles and goes for sure. The difference for BMW in this gen though is that a bump in power is easy to achieve if required to compete with the C63.

If the C63 matches or betters the M3 on track then BMW will have to respond decisively as it will surely out perform it in a straight line.

Mercedes also have the advantage of knowing the M3/4 s performance data- I will be surprised if they don't capitalise by ensuring their car is faster.

If it sounds better, handles as well and is faster in a straight line and the gearbox is good the M3/4 will have very little to fight back with. This could be the gen where MB ends the M3s reputation as the benchmark in this class. They came close with the last gen and BMW must surely be concerned awaiting this cars launch.

Let's wait and see- if it's that good would I sell my M3 and get one? ........yes.
