I have the exact same winter wheel spec (270M) and I believe they will fit just fine on the F8X. The outside of the wheels will be approximately at the same position as the stock summer wheels for a decent look. I presently use 15mm spacers in rear with those winter wheels on my E92 to get rid of that "in-board" look the 270M have in the rear. With the 40ET offset, I will have the same look without the spacers.
I also plan on going to 245/40-18 PA4 once my 235/40-18 PA3 are worn out.
