Now that I know the splitters cover the stock piece, I'm thinking about going this route with the subtle paint matching leading edge of the carbon splitters with the matte lower lip

I Definitely like the painted stripe. I don't think it makes sense for me since mine is black but definitely for you with a white stripe! Good choice.
