I have had experience with getting two tickets handled by attorneys in NC about 10-12 years ago. I cant remember the exact speeds but both were approx 80 in 55 mph zones. I don't know exactly how the lawyers handled it but the first one was $350 to pay for the lawyer and whatever court costs. the second ticket was literally a year later to the day. It ended up costing a little over $500 to cover everything.
Whatever they did ended up netting me no points and no increase on my insurance which was big for me since I was 19/20 at the times. I would assume that the increase to insurance would have been astronomical in comparison.
