Will have to see. I think the current M3 might hold its own on the track vs the F80/F82. Would love to compare track times after final testing.
I humbly disagree. Time will tell, but I'm not as pessimistic about the F80. That's based on many things we do know: Lighter, less drivetrain loss, better transmission, faster car all around. And from watching the videos, the F80 has about half the body roll of an E90. I think if anything the F80 looks like a calmer car but when driven hard it looks like a wild, squirrelly, fast fast car. However, hearing from drivers in other videos that it is actually more controlled and breaks traction into a drift smoothly and is easy to control, it encourages me that the squirellyness might be due to the driver.
