Agreed, Just puts into perspective the difference the rubber makes for the gains responsible for the extra speed the gts is capable of, not to mention all the other good ness baked into that car.
Edit, also the fact that uhp/summer tires like moss street tires >300 tw and less have gotten so much better too. Back when I was in college auto crossing the snot out of my then newish 202 wry wagon, a set of victoracers were worth 2-3 seconds on a 50 second course,
