I was a Pre-Owned Sales Manager for a BMW store in the Toronto area for a bit... firstly, take the VIN and contact a BMW Service department to see if the vehicle has extended warranty already. If it does, you can just transfer it yourself or ask the dealer for a form to transfer the warranty from the previous owner to you. If the vehicle does not already have an extended warranty, make sure the warranty they are offering you is a CPO Warranty and not third party (First Canadian, etc.). With third-party warranties, service departments have a harder time claiming warranty work and you normally have to pay a deductible ($100-200/warranty claim). $1950 for a 6yr/120k is pretty good pricing though if it's CPO - there's not a ton of markup at that price.
