Mine is easy to replicate as long as the car is cold, once it's warmed up it goes away. They had the car for a few days though after I dropped it off because they ended up replacing the front brakes/rotors so I know they heard it at some point. They never made a comment about it in the paper work so I guess it didn't raise any flags. |
Thanks for the update. One thing I have noticed, is that shorter journeys definitely aggravates it. I only ever notice it after taking shorter trips. Impossible to reproduce it after taking a longer drive. Pretty clear its down to the lifters. Think i'll try different oil at my next service interval as suggested above see if that makes any difference.
