My first car was a 1971 Alfa Romeo Berlina. That was simply because they lost value much faster than the Spider or the beautiful GTV, so I could actually afford a used one. I paid $1 per cc.

It was butt-ugly but I got hooked on how well it drove while at the same time being so incredibly practical as a daily driver. It would destroy my buddy's 2002, which had only 2 doors. My DD has been a 4-door ever since. Deposit is in on the M3!
