I briefly spoke with the guy that had the 30 Jahre on auction at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale last month. The guy was clueless and obviously just looking to flip it for profit. I was explaining some of the details to my dad, when he interrupted and seemed to just be reading the BMW press release to me. When he told me that this model was only available in Macao Blue, I told him that in Europe they got it in Frozen Silver. He rudely told me that I had wrong information. Haha! I almost wanted to google it in front of him, but we just walked away as he roped in another unsuspecting gentleman with his press release speech.
BTW, it sold for $110k at auction...so with sellers and listing fees he maybe got around $95k-ish I would guess? The window sticker on his showed something like $86k I believe.
