I think you're confused. If the GTS and CS have the same oil pan, they have the same capacity. Both are 7 L. BMW has it wrong in their own documentation.

I suspect there may well be a typo as the BMW tech doc has the M2 CS at 7L as well which suggests the GTS and both CSs share the magnesium oil pan.
All I'm pointing out is that the M4 CS per BMW has it at 6.5L parts be damned. |
