Even Porsche GT cars have been losing value as of late. Especially the 991.1s due to the engine replacement.

P.S. The reason why they are saying that is because they are trying to get you to buy one. RS5 do not sell very well sadly, I did enough research lately (driven an Nardo RS5 Sportback myself) and while I loved the car as well, the price concerns me. You said it yourself, the car has sat there since January. In my area, there are 2018 cars that still sat until just a month ago when I visited the dealership.

P.P.S. Just as a comparison. A some what used Porsche 991.1 GT3, 7k ish miles, was around 110k CPO. Compared to a 90k RS5, why not just get the 20k and get into an used GT3 instead?
Was the dealer willing to deeply discount the RS5 you drove? Wonder if there are some deals to be had.
I'm personally unsure how hard they discounted the White RS5 coupe but it was there since release.

The Nardo RS5 Sportback I drove was a different story, I have to directly speak with a GSM friend, he said if I do go down that route to talk to him first. Based on that, I'd say no, Audi will hesitate until they cannot move the car.

The issue with Audi is, these cars don't sell in volume, not even close. So, they just... oddly don't want to deal. My GSM friend is a Porsche dealer, I'd personally would aim for a slightly used GT3 .1 or .2.

Also, Audi leases are terrible. You won't come close to BMW numbers even currently with BMW monthly being higher.
So you figure 10% is a good deal on this car?
And this wouldn't be a lease.
Stop planting those p-car seeds!!
