Used 2016 m3 - break in service
Hey guys, I'm considering purchasing a used m3. looking at the Carfax there's only one record of a service at 1,100 miles which states the following:
-maintenance inspection completed
-battery charged
-computer reprogrammed
-tire check
There's nothing about oil/transmission change or anything of that nature. Which I'm concerned about since that's around the time of the break in service.
So I'm wondering if you guys think this is a stay away car as there are no other records for Carfax history. Thoughts? The lack of service records concern me.
Unfortunately I can't do a ppi on the car, as it is CarMax lol. I'm thinking it'll be safe since it's still got factory warranty for a year and I'll add the extra CarMax warranty
