I told you the vignette was easy. Now you can distress the next person who has questions about it.
I'm glad you remembered to ask about the watch. I completely forgot and they were out of speakers when I was there.
Man I'm ready for more German food.
Of course the car looks fantastic.
Looking forward to the rest of the journey.

Thanks a lot. You helped out a lot
I pulled out my checklist for "Delivery day" to the surprise of my delivery specialist. He commented "You came prepared"

Thanks. For once I feel like BMW did an awesome job on the OEM wheels so I'll ride with these for a bit. But knowing me I can only stay so long with the TE's

Dackelone Your tip on taking Passo Pennes was extremely helpful. So many tunnels. Loved it. Thanks again.

I truly loved looking at this so far, as it seems we both had a few similar things on our ED.
I also had the "man of few words" driver! At first it was a bit off putting.....maybe it was because I was super excited to be in Munich and just wanted to talk, talk, talk.....but he didn't want anything to do with it
Sorry that the Platzl didn't have your room ready.....we didn't have to deal with that, as we headed to the hotel after our delivery. Did they give you the free glasses of champagne in the bar? Other than the parking there, we really enjoyed our stay.
And what about that breakfast??!!! The best breakfast we had in all of Germany. (i'm literally re-living my ED through your thread here...lol).
We *also* had Rudolf as our Delivery Specialist. Very cool guy, very relaxed and told us repeatedly "take your time, there is no rush, you can stay here as long as you like". Pretty knowledgeable guy, eh?
Love the Hohenschwangau castle photos as well......
Glad to see the trunk dimensions worked out for you.... lol
Awesome stuff....look forward to the rest of them.

Thanks a lot. You helped out more than you can imagine. I liked Platzl overall but I felt that the room could have been bigger. The breakfast kinda made up for most of it. And no, they didn't offer Champagne. The best hotel was a little later on in the trip which I will cover in few posts down
Some lessons learned:
- Never bring with a friend when you have a pregnant wife and one year old along as well
- I didn't use 60% of the clothes I carried. I should have just gone with a carry on stroller. Lugging the bags in and out of the car every two days got really tiring and very taxing on the M3
- Always have phones no matter how expensive it is. I didn't get a SIM in Germany cuz they didn't have any cards that would work outside of Germany and I was leaving for Austria the next day. Lost a lot of precious time trying to coordinate things with the friend and spent half the time in Munich looking for each other Should have listened to OneRib
- Never plan on so many destinations. Even though I cut so many destinations out from the original plan, I should have cut this one in half as well. Max of 4 or 5 places in 16 days would have been far more relaxing but I had 9 Felt like we were always running. Big lesson learned here.
