His delivery is in 2019 not 2018, so I wouldn't say he needs to start ASAP but definitely should be talking to dealers around November/December of this year.
As to the current lease. Can extend 3 months for shit and giggles and up to 6 with a production number in hand for the same payment/miles. |
One thing to note, you get more miles when you extend... e.g for a 36k lease ... you will get an additional 1k mike each month you extend ... so it won't be just 36k miles you have ... worked out well for me since I went over by a little and that gave me extra miles
