Little update bmw did health check and noticed a oil leak from the rocker cover gasket. Quoted me £44 get it swapped which they then said would cost £900+ anyway
BMW also noticed that it had RF tyres on the rear and normal on the front and said this was unsafe and the M4 should only have normal tyres.
I thought I would take it back to the garage I brought it from so they could do it under my warranty. Driving back to the garage I brought it from it came up refill with oil minimum 1l, this is the third time that it has happened and I have covered just 1,049 miles since ownership. I know they’re thirsty for oil but 3l for 1,000 miles? Plus the driving I do is not hard driving at all.
They have inspected the car and said they cannot see anything, the oil consumption is normal and I’m kinda fussing over nothing but they will change the rear tyres.
