Loud and boomy doesnt mean good. Loud draws undue attention and pisses off neighbors. And gives you drone.
Perhaps the active sound in the M3 is actually noise cancellation.
All they need to do is make it sound as good as a 1M but eliminate its drone for the softies.
BTW the blats at shifts and throttle lift off are very interesting.
