I called San Diego BMW at noon on Saturday to see if the car was still there. They confirmed that it was, so a friend and I decided to drive down from LA to check it out. In the span of that 2 1/2 hour drive the car was sold and driven off the lot.
Apparently I'm never going to see this color in person!
