I still can't believe I did it. I trade a headache and the wife's unused 428 (she works out of home) for an 18 Comp Pack manual M3. It took a 200 mile test drive (I'm not kidding) and hell of a deal to get me back in one. I have to eat some crow as I poo pooed the comp pack........but, it is good, really much improved over my 15 M3/4.
That being said, had the Alfa Romeo come in a manual, I might of gotten a Quad/whatever they are called. That thing was excellent, like super duper holy fuck shit I was wowed excellent. But, the manual and BMW doing excellent discounts/helping us end the 428 lease early swayed us. I also was a beta tester for Ford and the GT350/Voodoo, I wasn't going to do it for Alfa. A couple of things were already not working on the test drive. |
