Yes, if I can recall there was some documentation that max torque comes on at a later time. I remember seeing the picture of a Dyno with a different Torque curve.

With a tune you can do whatever you want LOL.

Also the earlier cars came with a Magnesium Oil Pan, where they took that out later.
