I have a 2018 M4 ZCP 6MT, built 3/17 with March 2017 software and it had the lower rpm, higher torque mapping. While it was fun, it wasn’t very practical nor helped with wheel slip. After the ilevel software update, it transformed the car through out, delayed power curve, better steering and then in combination with the GTS, CS coding, was day and night.

That being said, the change in the power curve, I doubt, had anything to do with the change from the CF to the steel driveshaft.
I have the CF drive shaft.
