1. It's a pre-production model by a significant amount of time. They might have the real exhaust on there, they might not - they could be camo'ing the exhaust/intake sound.

2. That was possibly the worst audio recording I've heard in a long time of an "exhaust sound". And even good audio recording are damn near impossible to judge compared to in person.

3. If you pay attention to the other sounds you hear (i.e. clutch engaging flywheel, gear changes) you can hear how totally out of whack that audio is in terms of what frequencies it's picking up strongly vs. what it's not hearing.
