My brakes squeaked in reverse since I took delivery. I finally got fed up so i took it to the dealer last week.
I went for a drive with the tech but of course I couldn't replicate the sound. I was waiting for oil change when my advisor came out and said the tech took my car out with the shop foreman to see if they can replicate it. I was thinking to my self they probably went for a joyride.
After the 3rd attempt they were able to replicate the sound and scheduled me to come in another time to replace front right brake pad.
I checked my dash-cam and the techs took my car to an empty parking lot, drove in reverse looking for any sounds but failed to do so. When they pulled back into the dealer there was another car blocking the garage. The tech put the car in reverse to move back then he suddenly heard the brakes squeak.
One of the tech got out and managed to pinpoint which wheel the squeaking was coming from. They were able to replicate it many times after that.
I'm going back tomorrow to get the front right brake pad replaced.
