You can easily modify your existing buttons by simply pulling them out with a butter knife and trimming the tabs in the back (see the EAS thread on rear fogs). Some of us OCD just purchased the switches to have the lit markings on the buttons.
You can have VLD/NGHB and the front fogs coded at the same time. It is just (it seems) that VLD/NGHB are not functional when the "fog lights " are on. Press the button to turn-off the "fog" and VLD/NGHB are active again
