Congratulations...
My advice; drive it for a year in stock trim.
Turn off all the drivers aids and floor it; if that don't scare you then tune it.
In stock trim the car is an absolute BEAST!!!!
You'll find your best mod is tires and regular maintenance.
I'm 100% stock with DWS 06 tires and I whipped up on a 2012 C63, Charger SRT, Scat Pack and countless others.
Unless you're chasing a HP number; for street use 400+ HP is plenty along with a "limited" top speed of 165 mph
Again; congratulations!
The Miata is probably the most balanced convertible cars I've ever driven. The worst being a volvo convertible.
