I removed this system from a 2016 X1 and it was in full working order. I have the flash drives for settings and firmware. There are 5 heads, 3 front and 2 rear was how it was set up. I had to cut the rear sensor wiring to remove it (they were cut and reconnected during install). The controllers are mounted on a panel but I imagine could be removed with little effort. There was a remote display integrated into the rear view mirror. I was able to remove it, but I do not know what it would take to reinstall it into your mirror. I would recommend professional installation with this unless you know what you are doing. The install was performed by a reputable installer in NJ.
If you know about these systems, then you know they are the leading product on the market. I am willing to ship, but it is quite a heavy box so I would have to get pricing before shipping it.
