I had a modified STi (400+ whp on pump gas) many years ago and it was a joy to drive. The community was awesome and the aftermarket support was stellar. What ultimately killed it for Subaru in my eyes was the lack of evolution of the motor. What a travesty. The EJ207 should’ve made it to the USDM many years ago.
