Not sure why you quote the M2cs 6MT to be quicker to 60mph than the DCT M3cs and M4cs, because it isn't the case. DCT M2cs is in fact slightly slower, 6MT even more so.

Also of note, both the M3/4cs have the base less stiff front anti-roll bar to reduce understeer. Further, in the US, the M3/4cs cannot be had with PSC2 tires, they come with 255/35R19 and 285/30R20 PSS. M4cs seats are not any lighter than the CP ones, they just have alcantara side bolstering for better grip. M4cs also has a slightly downgraded sound system to reduce weight. Both M3/4cs have a single zone climate control with a lightweight center console and arm rest delete to increase elbow room. You are also forgetting DSC/ABS/e-Diff reprogramming. And those gorgeous 763M wheels...

And I dont believe any will hold value particularly well. They will depreciate like any other M3/4. The only reason the E30 holds so well, it's because it was the first and it was produced in relatively low volume.
