so here's my agree / disagree:
* Should BMW have this down? YES! we agree

* Should this forum help people understand that? YES! We may disagree
I guess a life lesson for me is to separate out the practical get-shit-done side of things from the principled side of things.
If we were doing things right, rather than bitch, we'd sticky a thread called "Individual Manufaktur Blow Donkey Balls - here's how to manage it". And the first post would say, "ok this is going to suck, but if you're ok with that, here's how to do it ..."
THEN
We'd create a group letter to BMWNA telling them their service sucks and making specific actionable recommendations on how to fix it. If we were REALLY good, we'd get everyone to agree not to order individual until they fix it.
The reason we don't do any of that stuff is because people have a fantasy and what I just wrote would blow it up.
