What a time to be alive! We can have active shooter drills and nuclear strike drills yo make school days more fun!
But the capability to carry that many warheads pretty much would wipe out half of Europe or up to 15% of USA in one blow. Considering how cyber is the real battle field, I can't see a point in this if not to nock down electronics from a wide area. USA or no other country has no means to strike down one of these and why would they use one? They're already in your electrical grid and in your minds. Why go after the old folks who lived through the cold war in this old way? |
I'm thinking of it as a poor man's fobs (fractional orbital bombardment system). I think the new ICBM and the hypersonic missile are very destabilizing. There's really no need for those at all.
