Heard a rumor from sales guy that the tablet stuck to the dash design will get changed with LCI and possibly have hideaway function. Who knows if he is on to something or blowing smoke, hence the question. Infiniti had hideaway Nav screen capability ten years ago. Is nice, only downside is more moving parts to break. |
Sales people know nothing and will say anything they think you want to hear.
In addition to Scott's comments above, there are other things to consider. First, the cost to redesign a dash is enormous. No way it would EVER be redesigned during an LCI. Second, you'd have to re crash test it.
Not happening.
