I had done the lower blank button modification and enabled the rear fog lights on my 2016 M4. I have been looking for stickers to put on the blank button for 2.5 years and nothing came close to matching the lighted rear fog light icon on the dash.
I finally bought a used
Euro F30 headlight switch on eBay from a guy in Lithuania at what I thought was a reasonable price. I took out the lower rear fog light button and swapped it into my existing headlight switch. I bought two, and also did this on my wife's 2018 M3, but I still need to do the coding.
It looks like this now on my M4:
