I did get a few looks at the stop light on the off ramp. The other drivers could smell the burning ceramic as much as I could, I think the pedal feel and brake grab was comparable to OEM and quiet as a church mouse.

I needed pads for the Macan and also thanks to this thread when down the Akebono path.
Had them on for a year now and very happy - so much less dust and they feel almost like OEM.
I will definately be getting them for the M4 when I need new pads in 10 years at this rate...
