Few days ago, I put the valve flap controller back because many people asked me about it. With valve flap closed and gas coming out from main muffler, sound is slightly deeper than stock configuration during cold start. Sound is pretty muted during regular driving due to closed valve.
I still don't like sound coming out from that rear muffler. It's like BMW purposely built rear muffler sound like crap to make people purchase performance exhaust.
I will be disabling valve flap later to bring back that mean/aggressive exhaust sound across all RPM.
Not so much problem with drone either with valve flap disabled. Only time I get minor drone is when I am driving very low rpm on 7th gear (1.8k - 2k rpm) or going uphill on 7th gear. Other than that, no drone is present.
