it looks like there were about 10,000 E90 M3s sold. So, sales figures more than tripled for this generation. Great to see such strong demand for practical four door, high performance sport sedans.

Before someone asks "Which LCI?" with regard to the tables above, it's the F80 LCI, which came in mid 2015 for MY2016. Last year's LCI was for the F82, and only affected the F80's headlights because they are shared with the F32/F33/F82/F83. I know people seem to call it "LCI 2" but as far as BMW is concerned there has always been a sedan/touring LCI and then a coupe/convertible LCI, and that's exactly what we got again this generation. There is no such thing as "LCI 2" with respect to the same model (same chassis code) getting two LCIs.
