Yep,
BMW camaraderie is all but gone.
I can maybe get an acknowledgement from another ///M-car driver with 1:10 chance these days. Usually an occasional M5 or an M6 with a younger (<50 yo) driver.
Driving F80 I only get thumbs up and waves from Honda and Toyota drivers. One even followed me to a hotel parking lot the other month, and we ended up talking cars for good 15 minutes.
Chance of that happening with another BMW driver these days?
Infinitesimally small.
Maybe if they have a CCA sticker on their car, but even those are getting harder and harder to find.
Back on the subject - I get smoked by a Tesla Model 3 Performance, with annoying regularity.
My wife drives it. She loves rubbing it in. So do the kids.
My only recourse? Grab the Tesla before she does.
Otherwise, it's no contest @public road speeds.
