Here in FL you always hire a ticket attorney and if you have no recent tickets, it will either get dismissed outright, dismissed with court costs and no points or get dismissed with court costs and driving school to avoid points. At a minimum talk to a ticket attorney. It isn’t the same outcome everywhere. I got a ticket in SC a few years back and spent a fortune on legal fees to keep it off my record. Would have cost $79 here in FL.
