More than likely but the car ended up needing other warranty work done so I just went with it via the dealership at the time. It's not the greatest of dealerships and I had other issues with their service department in the past and I definitely don't plan on buying from them again when I do make my M3 purchase in a couple of years. Oh well, it's in the past and don't care much. Just thought I'd throw it out there that there are instances where the dealer will probably try and not cover it under warranty.
